Just a little Posy.

Horray! At last we now have have Posy.............

.................and Noteworthy in the shop.

We are still waiting for the pre-cuts for Posy but hope to have them in soon.

Show Dates 2013

Just to let you know we have now updated our Events page with all the shows we will currently be attending this year. 
Our first one is going to be the Knitting and stitching Show at Olympia on the 14th to the 17th March we are on stand C64, come and say hello. We should look a little bit like this.

We are going to a few different shows this year, the first new to us one is the Quilt and Stitch Village at Uttoxeter.

Wimbledon International Quilters have also asked us to be at their Quilting Exhibition on the 10th and 11th May 2013. If you are in the area pop along. It is being held in St.Pauls Church, 118 Augustus Road, London SW19 6EW. 

If there is any other shows or events that you think we should attend let us know and we'll consider them all. 

Noteworthy and other goodies.

Horray!! We now have Noteworthy Charm Packs, Jelly Rolls and Layer Cakes in the shop. The bolts of fabric should be in soon.

Also in the delivery was more Charm Packs. We have  some Honey, Honey by Kate Spain and the cute Apple Jack by Tim and Beck, these are proving really popular you will have to be quick if you want one!.

Scrappy Trip Along.

Well my Scrappy Trip Along top is all finished, Yay! 

I ended up making 39 blocks instead of 36, at some point I lost count of how many I had made and I've ended up with a couple of spare ones! 

The size is perfect, this quilt isn't one that's going on the bed so I didn't need it to be any bigger and it will probably end up being the one that get's used the most.

The quilt came together really quickly as the tutorial is really easy to follow. However it's going to have to wait in the WIP pile for a little while longer as I need some more wadding and a backing fabric. In the meantime I've just got to keep the dog off it!

Latest Delivery.

Things have been a bit slow on the creative front around here since Christmas. I only seem to have had a couple of productive sewing days since the new year.

 If you are following us on Instagram you may have seen a little peak of a quilt we are jointly working on but as the special birthday has been and gone and we still haven't finished it then I can't ruin the surprise just yet!

I have however succumbed to the Scrappy Quit Along that you may have have also seen on Instagram. I have already finished 19 blocks!

I was so indecisive about which fabrics to use that in the end I just cut strips off every piece of fabric I had in my stash, didn't matter how long I'd had it, or if I had been saving it for something special I just cut. It was very liberating and I'm so pleased I did it. 

We also took delivery of some new fabrics!! We have some Architextures by Carolyn Friedlander for Robert Kaufman Fabrics and also Metro Living. 

Our first bolt of Type by Julia Rothman for Windham Fabrics. We should have some more from this range and Architextures in the next few weeks. We'll let you know as soon as it comes in.

Missing U?

Simply Color by V & Co.

We now have the Ombre Solids and the Ombre Dots for sale in our EBay shop. 

I struggled with this as I kept typing Colour and not Color (even now as I type this its looks wrong and I have to keep looking at the labels to check!) hence the post title 'Missing U'!!

Anyway whichever way you spell it they are stunning fabrics just waiting to be used as a fabulous quilt back. I think the Grey is my favourite in both the Ombre & the Ombre Dots. 

(Have I spelt Grey right?? Grey Gray?)
