Charm Square Quilt.

Here's a little Quilt I've just finished, which was made from a Charm Pack from the Grow With Me range which we have on Ebay at the moment.

I've made this ready for the Festival of Quilt's at the NEC in August.

After the Malvern Quilt Show we decided to make up a couple of sample quilt's, just to show the finished size of a Charm Pack, Layer Cake and Jelly Roll. This is the first one finished!

This is also my first attempt at free-motion quilting. It's quite wobbly in some places but not too bad overall. I was inspired to have a go after reading Aneela's tutorial. 

For the Quilting I used some of the lovely Wonderfil Fruitti Thread that was given to us by Chris at the Malvern Quilt Show. It's a 12wt egyptian cotton varigated thread and was lovely to work with, the quality was fantastic and the colours perfect.

Granny Squares.

Just wanted to share this little Quilt I have finally finished.

It was meant to be finished ready for the Malvern Quilt show in May, but as usual I missed my deadline and only the top was finished in time!

I saw the original idea over at Blue Elephant Stiches but used Katy's Tutorial at I'm A Ginger Monkey.

Several weeks later and in between rain storms I have managed to take a couple of pictures to share with you.
